So, just wanted to put this out there; maritime archaeology does not just involve shipwrecks, but a range of other features too like historic and archaeological landscapes, buildings, airplanes, etc. So if you happen to be designing a logo that has to do with maritime archaeology, please forget about trying to squeeze a shipwreck in there! Rather choose something that can symbolize maritime archaeology in a way that includes a larger spectrum of what we do.
